Important Information about Adoptions
- The interested party must be over 21 years of age and have an identification card.
- All members of the household must agree to the adoption.
- All animals must be domesticated pets.
- The interested party should be willing to allow an SH representative to monitor the adoption, either in person or over the telephone.
- Dogs that have yet to be sterilized due to age or any other valid reason must be sterilized.
- For the adoption of a pet through SH, an adoption contract is signed, the contract lists all terms and conditions for a responsible adoption.
